I hadn't realized it'd been so long! 7 years wow. I will still check in when I remember, but even I am starting to think the site might not come back. :/

If one looks at their pets on CS I believe Jendalie probably was online around last December during the re-release and adopted those at least, but yeah ... The hope of a return of this site is truly slowly but steadly burning out.

I would prefer at this point if the admins would transfer or sell the rights to Eldemore so the project could be rebooted. Whether or not work has been continuing in the background, the community has been left in the dark for too long, with little to no indication that Elde will in fact return. It's understandable if the demands of life have gotten too much to continue a passion project, but it would be considerate to admit to as much.

I do miss Eldemore. The art, the story, and the community have all meant so much to me. If it is to come back, I think it would need someone else to breathe fresh life into it.

The sad fact of the matter is that Eldemore has now been "on hiatus" for longer than it was ever active for in the first place. I think anyone that's halfway reasonable understands that real life comes first, and no one begrudges anyone for putting their real life before finishing development on a site but like ... it's been seven years at this point. It's been years since an official update.

I think everyone that still takes the time to check the site does so because of a genuine love for what the site once was and it's just a shame that the people running it can't take 10 minutes to at least write out a quick post saying what's happening (or not happening) with the site.

I think the site has no hope of returning unless its sold. The current devs don't even have enough time to update us via forum post, let alone update the site itself. Even if they did somehow turn up with a finished revamp their reputation is pretty soured by this point. I don't think a lot of people would feel secure in sinking too much time and effort into the site, which would lead to less people buying baubles and less revenue for the game.

I truly think Elds only hope from here is if the devs sell it to a new team willing to breathe new life into it. The only thing that still gives me any hope for Elds future at this point is that it still exists at all. Every time I check in I half expect the domain to lead to nowhere.
