Have been planning to draw some fan art for awhile but was unsure what to draw. I decided to pick the red flame elkrin because of the awesome colours and because yeah elkrins are generally awesome.

Heres the work in progress sketchs and completed projects (done in gimp mostly with the paintbrush tool). I draw with the mouse because i've never got the hang of using my tablet so they can be a bit of a mess:








and the cleaned up lines ready to colour:




will probably edit the legs as i go since i'm not really happy with them

Anatomy edits :3 hopefully it makes it less blocky/horselike and more delicate/deerlike XD pretty proud of how it turned out so far. 3 days to do half of it lol but at least the most detailed parts done

Looks awesome! ^^ The lineart edits look great. A lot of people seem to have trouble with making deer look too horse-like. I used to do it all the time. XP Horses tend to be more round, where deer are sort of squarish in my experience. I don't think you should change anything though, since it looks perfectly fine.

Finished *rubs poor wrist* very happy with how it turned out. Planning on tackling the blue flame elkrin next to complete the pair
