Trapped, new and accepting

You're trapped. Trapped in a place where there seems to be no exits or freedom. The people there are often cruel and stick pointy metal objects into you. They say it's for their own good. You think it's just for their enjoyment at the sight of you suffering. At least, though, you're not alone. And there must be a way out, right?

Yes, this is a role-play about people, ages ranging from 5-20 (pm me if you want to make your character younger or older), who had been taken to a lab at a young age to be experimented on. The experiment is to add animal DNA to the person. The people are trying to find their way out of the lab.

• All of sites' rules
• No god-modding or Mary/Gary-suing. Everybody has flaws.
• At least two decent sentences, but no more than one good paragraph. You are making a story with other people, not writing your own. There is no need for more than one paragraph per character.
• Please make a girl and a boy.
• Your character can only be mixed with one animal.
• I do not want to see a million wolf and cat hybrids. Please be creative.
• Only real animals please.
• Do not make your own characters be together or have a crush on each-other. It's seen as desperate. They can be friends though, but no more.
• Fade to Black or Timeskip at "those" moments.
• Please don't hurt your character every other page. It's okay to hurt them occasionally, but not too much.
• You may play a scientist if you want.
• You can make your own form.
• Please, no super complicated posts (meaning I don't want to see more than one picture and the actually thing you're writing has to be in normal font.)
• Have fun!

Due to the experiments performed on him, Felix now has the heightened abilities of a feline. The only outward sign of his change are his eyes. He once wore glasses, but now he has no need for them.

His character will be expanded in the RP, but for the most part Felix is, by nature, manipulating and devious. He harbors a deep hatred for the scientists who he believes have enslaved him, but at the same time, he has developed a growing fondness for the abilities which they have bestowed upon him. Felix is one who can usually adapt quickly to a situation, and he will do whatever it takes to survive. Living in the lab has almost completely extinguished any type of moral obligations that Felix might have been limited to before, and he will go to any lengths to get what he wants.

Generally considered naive, Veronica has not experienced most of the harsh realities that the world makes known to people. Life has been good to her, and as a result she has a bright outlook on most situations. She views her job as something that is furthering the evolution of mankind and in turn doing a great service to society. The fact that the subjects of their experiments are human beings used to disturb her, but after so many months she slowly became accustomed to the idea. She is a hard worker and can sometimes be considered a bit of an overachiever by her co-workers.
